Plastic politics reign
powerless promises again
will we ever understand
how to rule our fellowman

in this place where the restless river runs
Mammon priests preaching love
cry "fight for God above"
will we ever understand
they’re fooling their fellowman
Too many bullets from too many guns
in this place where the restless river runs
nationalistic cries
create hate and despise
will we ever understand
we should love our fellowman
