Title:
Premonition
Today was another day
And tonight was another night
And you were going about your tasks
and it didn’t feel quite right.
Your face wore a cautious smile
And your eyes could not be caught.
Your movements were strangely guarded
The atmosphere heavy and fraught
So when you left our world
It wasn’t totally without warning.
Tonight was another night
And now the truth is dawning.
