The eyes have it,
The power to express emotion,
Glaring so jealously,
Staring in intimidation,
Sadly crying,
Twinkling happily,
And widening in astonishment.

The eyes have it,
The gift of sight created by God,
They appreciate the world,
Yet scorn the ugliness in life,
Outer beauty,
Is all our eyes see,
Happiness depends on appearance.

The eyes have it,
God´s gifts and creations from heaven,
They´re essential to life,
Yet the blind still live on without,
But only with our help,
Though our emotions,
And thoughts are revealed with our own eyes.
