Title:
Grey Out
Don’t keep saying that life is grey
Find the countryside today
Cross the meadows, chase the streams
Tell the sky about your dreams.
Don’t keep saying that life is grey
Watch the lambs frisk and play
See the rabbits jump and bounce
Giggle as the pheasants flounce.
Don’t keep saying that life is grey
Live it down and get away
Far from the maddening crowd
To somewhere you can shout out loud.
Relish the colour that life brings
Enjoy the chorous the song-birds sing
Recharge your spirit in open space
Rejoice in Mother Nature’s grace.
