Title:
Meadow Sweet
Cobwebs lace the tallest grasses
Birds dart from their nests with a shrill squawk
Tiny pink flowers confetti my wet boots
With one with nature on my meadow walk
White flowering nettles fight for height
Dock leaves abound to soothe their sting
Dandelion clocks take flight like flies
Ducks pass overhead serene on the wing
Hawthorn bushes scramble for light
Their sweet scent carried in the air
Bees bumble happy with pollen feasts
Meadows provide sweet wildlife fare
