Title:
A little word
I wonder if you're missing me
As much as I miss you
For though it's but a little word
Lonely lasts the whole night through
You scoffed at me as every time
I told you that I care
The words I lack are those that say
'I miss you, you're not there'
You think I seek a dream I've held
That matches you in every part
I wish it were that simple
Then I'd exercise my heart
Simpler even than a teenage dream
The truth shines in the soul
I wanted you for your good and bad,
Complete, unvarnished, whole
