Title: Don't We All

I just need a space
A quiet place
to feel safe.
That’s all.
A place to be.
A place for me
that isn’t crowded or oppressive.
Isn’t shared by a depressive.
Isn’t shrouded or threatening.
A place where no-one
can harm me
and no harm will be done.
A place where no-one
can tread on my existence
or trample on my soul
A place to be.
Don't we all?
