The Ten Steps to Motivation
The following poem has been written as more of a motivational guide for myself, to remind me to keep on track. I able to lead a pretty normal life, despite having my medical conditions. Motivation, positive thinking and being calm, makes this possible for me, so it may not be everyone's cup of tea, but it works for me. For that reason I am not expecting reviews on this, but hopefully you may enjoy anyway. STEP ONE TO MOTIVATION IS TO FIND YOUR OWN FOUNDATION You're the only person, who can change your life and so it is you who must change your ways Think of how you'd like to spend your time and how to fill up your days Think about the person you'd like to be list the items you'd like to achieve Set yourself, realistic goals (One's that you'll not just leave) Confront your fears and don't be scared have confidence stand tall do not allow anyone to put you down you can control this - it's your call Ask yourself what you want from life? and how can you go about getting it? Write down all your ideas and tick them off bit by bit STEP TWO TO MOTIVATION IS TO CLEAR THE CONDENSATION Look into any grievances or issues that still linger from the past list them down one at a time it's time we got rid of them fast Rid your past of any hang ups and start living in the 'now' you need to forgive or accept or seek out reasons how When you're finishing up this process and the end is very near you can focus going forward because your mind will be much more clear Give up all of your grudges they make you bitter on the inside This is the start of a new beginning Relax and enjoy the ride STEP THREE TO MOTIVATION IS FINDING DEDICATION It's always positive thinking and having strong will power the courage for strength to journey on when it gets harder by the hour It's sticking to healthy eating and resisting fatty foods eating things nutritious helping swinging moods It's exercising regularly and allocating time i'ts enjoying being active and resisting the bottle of wine! It's not giving in when the going gets tough it's working to see results It's hanging in there and gritting your teeth and seeing past your faults STEP FOUR TO MOTIVATION IS CONNECT WITH MEDITATION Get your Chakras back in line and chant Mantras everyday clear your mind of everything and make stresses go away Light up scented candles and stare into the light practise visulisation and see your goals in sight. STEP FIVE OF MOTIVATION IS TIME FOR RELAXATION Create sometime to put aside that's entirely for yourself take the time to wind down it's cruicial to your health Run yourself a bubble bath listen to a relaxing cd try not to argue or raise your voice and let your stresses go free Book yourself a holiday something you can look forward to put your feet up, enjoy your time with not a thing int he world to do Pick youself a happy time and place this in your mind this should be an instant calm when re-call needs to find STEP SIX TO MOTIVATION TO GAIN MORE OF AN EDUCATION Reading is a fantastic way to higher your IQ Vary yoru reading material for learning something new Think about some courses that could help you in your career or maybe just as a hobbie there is really nothing to fear It's never too late to take on new things just by listening - you'll learn and perhaps one day, you'll put it in use to change what you can earn Treasure those who are keen to teach who do not charge by the hour because knowledge for free is rare enough but knowledge alone equals power STEP SEVEN TO MOTIVATION IS TO HAVE CONSIDERATION Look through someone elses eyes before you do or say because the consequences of your actions~ can be a hard price to pay Before you decide to judge on situations that everyone knocks Take a step back and listen before putting people in a box Your conscience is there for a reason you really shouldn't hide it way down and manners do not cost a thing my friends it takes less muscles to smile than to frown ST EP EIGHT TO MOTIVATION IS TO HAVE APPRECIATION It's not taking people for granted and enjoying the company around you and when someone who cares takes an interest respect that they have a view It's the present you received that was precious because of the thought involved and not the price Acknowledgement that someone has listened and you never had to tell them twice STEP NINE TO MOTIVATION IS MAKE THE MOST OF YOUR LOCATION
Take in the attractions of where you live and all it's neighbouring places learn about it's history and the famous local faces Visit different restaurants explore the foreign cusiine frequent the numerous watering holes and become part of the music scene Take a trip to the theatre watch a musical or a play or maybe catch a concert see what's on today! STEP 10 TO MOTIVATION IS GIVE PRAISE AND COMMENDATION To tell yourself you matter and to tell yoruself you care set yourself aims and targets and treat yoruself when your reach there As you tick off all those goals stand up and answer loud ask yourself 'what has changed?' stand up and answer proud and it's not just you who needs a boost make sure it's noticed in others your Mums, Dads, Partners and friends your Children, Sisters and Brothers ENDING So if you're feeling motivated after reading my little rhyme maybe you should flick back to the start and re-schedule some of your time but if you think sucess is just about money then this poem isn't for you This process is on the deeper side about becoming a more motivated you
