Title:
Fireworks (for Roger and Ana)
Bangs and whizzes,
Pops and fizzes,
All the way through the night.
Chocolate and coffee,
Sweets and toffee,
The glare of the flame alight!
The smell of wood burning,
It makes me yearning,
To stay up half the night.
Colours- yellow, orange and red.
Into the sky they spread,
The glare of the flame still bright!
Your hands warm in your pockets,
Out come the rockets,
They light up the sky at night.
Colourful Catherine Wheels,
So hot like flames they feel,
I feel as though I might!
Head off to bed!
