Title: If Dreams Were Real

Sleeping much better now
Don’t waken in the night
Memories still hard to set aside
As I turn off the light
Sometimes dream, wish it were more
Of when you come to me
I can’t seem to hold them long
And never talk it seems
Why is this? I ask
When I’ve so much to say
I try to get more close to you
Then I awake as you fade away
Back to sleep but not to find
You still waiting there for me
I’ll try again tomorrow night
Again; I hope it will be you I see
Dawn comes too soon
For as I start to wake
I feel so happy, so content
Spring! Is here for me
Only dreams again I realise
When you beside, I do not see
