low winter sun
I'm blinded by low winter sun that rakes the icy field. I shield my eyes to see each furrow stark in sharp relief above each new cut shadow line so dark, and peering as the dazzling light lifts thinning mist from lines of frozen mud, I see each one is capped with silver.
