Title: Therapy Session

Good Morning to you Therapist
Thank you - I will take a seat
and yes I'm a little nervous
because it's our first official meet

Well I don't know if you can help me?
I'm not even sure why I'm here?
Now, how exactly do I start this?
It would help if I could she a tear

Do you think you can make me 'normal'?
Can you unlock what's locked inside?
Can you tell me what it is that I'm doing wrong?
Will you be able to tell if I lied?

Do you know my inner most secrets?
or tell me why I am so confused?
Will I ever be capable of loving?
Why are people generally un-amused?

Can you find out why I worry so much?
Tell me - is it wrong to be a grown up kid?
Is it wrong to squander my money that way?
Is it wrong to do what I did?

Can you teach me exactly what to do?
What to say and what to think?
Will you tell me to keep a diary?
and cut down on the drink?

Will you tell me that all of my problems
relate back to when I was a kid?
and that everything I do, is a direct result
of anything that my family once did?

Will you encourage me to be more positive
and tackle my fears face on?
Will you make me brave? and make me strong?
Until all my worries are gone?

Well Therapist you have worked wonders!
How much better I already feel,
I seem to have lifted a weight from my shoulders,
I thank you - Please forward the bill.
