Adverts on t.v.
sell things you can't touch.
My cards A.P.R.
doesn't matter that much.
Accident, accident
now who is to blame?
Our debts we consolidate
now you do the same.
Reality shows
with Z-list celebrities.
The tabloids & mags
and brain dead non-entities.
Two million quid
to see Posh & Becks house.
There's cheese in the trap
and you are the mouse.
The money we spent
on our teams new goalkeeper.
Let African children
take on the Grim Reaper.
The newspapers scare us
"you're all going to die".
A swan with a cough
mad cow pie in the sky.
Just lock me away
in my ivory tower.
To scream at the t.v.
for hours & hours.
Maybe it's me
and the world isn't mad.
Cynical insanity
would not be so bad.
My mental straight jacket
is tight round my chest.
But look on the bright side
at least I'm not stressed.
