That I realise that all you have given to me is mine to keep.

That the fear of not saying what is on my mind holds such a voice.
And all of the words that you have spoken bring me peace,

It is at times when you are out of reach,
That I long to lay beside you and hold you close.
And every touch that you have laid upon my skin returns to me and warms me,
Though the feeling may bring me tears.

It is at times when I cannot see your face,
That I am forever thankful for your beauty within my life,
And every expression, whether of sadness or of joy keeps you within my heart,
Though it never ceases to ache for your return.

It is at times when the memories and the truth come closer than the pain of the world,
That I know that we have made the right choices and we are each other’s.
