Title:
The City of York
York,. It has drawn the crowds from past to present day The Romans came, built their walls, the City to protect Vikings crossed the stormy seas .Ebor to detect A fiery race, came to conquer yet did not have their way Museums many York has, and gardens open to all Ghost walks take a tour at night with tales of ghastly deeds Of plague ridden hovels and murders in muddy river's reeds And ghostly legions march through certain cellar walls York today still draws the crowds, it's treasures to explore Near the old railway museum now stands the great York eye Take a ride, take in the vista 'neath Yorkshire’s open sky And if the day is clear, see racecourse .ings and moor coming down again to ground, in need of some repast take in the many street cafes, the winebars which abound Or the renowned olde worlde tearoom which cannot be surpassed York.it’s treasures on display.Never ceases to astound.
