Title: Collaboration project, null

Down hill from here on in
Burping freely, swigging gin.
Looks lost, high cost to retrieve.
Botox browed and pumped up lips
Mutton dressed up, some one quips,
don’t go sleeveless at your age.

Mind wandering, memory shot
Bent and staggering
small and squat
Lean models smile
from glossy pages
selling products for the aged
bikini clad, what a laugh,
demonstrating ‘easy bath’.

Teeth need whitening
Eyes need brightening
Bones need boosting
Clothes need loosening

Pill-popping becomes o.k.
Plastic dispenser give-aways
Behold the pharmaceutical giants
pimping.

Grumpy? Why not
What else is there?
Lots more years
of grind yet.
Early retirement?
NO CHANCE
to float your boat.
Pensions frozen
No-one cares.
Credit squeeze
teases savers.
Nothing gained
from your labors.
Torrid waste.
Bile taste.
Sucks.

Love, long gone
from the picture
Do your best
but no-one picks you.
Pick yourself
up now and then
Hit the street
to try again.

Tired, dull, needy, lonely
Broke, ugly, seedy, phony
Slow, wanting, finished, thwarted
Losing will to get it sorted.

Fuck.
