 Title:
						My Billy boy .

Billy's in his cripple chair acting like a spastic .
 Waving at the joggers
with his hands of elastic .
 He can't eat popcorn
 'cos he's a paraplegic .
 He has trouble talking
with the dribble and the bleeding .
He's the product of his mother's lifestyle
 retarded at birth .
 Pregnancy came second to her
while the drugs came first .
 His hands are like claws
 bent into bitter angles .
His legs are just as twisted
 like birthday-cake candles .
 He suffers from premature enunciation
he dribbles before he speaks .
 Every bodily orifice
 drips weeps and leaks .
 He lives on liquidised food
 and drinks diet coke .
 Life is really simple
 when you're treated like a joke .
His head bobs when he smiles
like his neck is coming loose .
 He's got no real friends
because there's always an excuse .
 As an infant he crawled
 like a maimed animal .
 Now he's in a wheelchair
 life's quality is minimal .
His mother was a film star
in the wrong sort of production .
 Where billionaires made whores rich
 with panavision seduction .
 She was oblivious and fragile
and tied to tenuous obligation .
 Treated as expendable
 lost in obliteration .
But she remembers how her baby didn't respond
and how they were all alone .
And she vowed to give him all her love
and care for him at home .
 Billy screams in horror
in the nightmares of his night .
But the wet sheets of tears are kissed away
by the mother at his side .
