Title:
Disconnected.
Sitting before temple in moderately intense 9am sunrays. Foster family inside, praying to stern deity of florid face and consternation slanted eyebrows. Reminiscent incense: long dormant memory of factory pipe-jointing compound. Red paper lanterns: Virgin air balloons. Chirping birdsong: some variety of ringtone. Contemplating the possibility of belonging [a repetitious theme in my experiment]. Oh me: my metaphor synthetic, manufactured. Losing all connection to the planet of my fathers: the temple but a website, logging in and out, you see, as need commands them.
