Title: Lost

I wanted to wait a while,
I tried.
Then I imagined you, sat there,
Staring in to space.
Lost
Without me.
I imagined, as I dialled
Our conversation
Your jubilation, alleviation.
So I dialled, I smiled
I waited a while...
My heart loving
My mind forgiving

Then SHE picked up the phone
And, my head was buzzing,

All I could hear were your parting words,
"Baby I love you
I desire only you
Give me space honey, I'll be back."

"Tell him something inside me just died,
He'll know who it is," I cried.

And now my phone rings
I ignore it
And I stare into space
Lost
Without you.
