Dial 911 because you need some help

Your drive and determination have been placed on the shelf.

I am not saying you don’t have any food

I am just saying you not cooking

Life completely filled with complexities

And you just standing there looking

Like a deer in the headlight

Simply dazed and confused

Luck so bad you play just to lose

Always first to complain

Always first to cry

Never willing to work harder

Never willing to try

There are other ways to solve your carnal desires

Like knowledge and success

And to relax when you retire

Time to sit back, travel, and eat real good

Looking back at your life

Happy you did what you could

No more late rent notices

No more sneaky creditor calls

Just your banker calling to say

Your stocks are off the wall

You see we are in the midst

Of emergency times

Robbing peter to pay paul

Bill collectors on the line

You must emerge and see

That to settle is wrong

You are blessed with greatness

Stand-up be strong

Emerge from your captivity

See what you can do

Change your own history

And collect what’s due to you

But if you don’t emerge and see the real story

Then your life will be quiet

No Guts- No Glory
