Title:
Spreading new wings
I shall miss you as I spread my wings. There were not many days you were not there, nor many times that we were not a pair. But now……….. the ring upon my finger circles only me. You have slipped into another sphere. ‘Good-bye’ I whisper as I flex these hedonistic wings, to fly and wonder what I’ll have to fear without you near.
