Title:
Snowmen
The girl looked out of the window. The snowman lit up the garden. Carefully she had placed a candle in a little hole in his Ice-cold belly. She crawled into bed and made a wish that it would burn through the night. Years later she watched her own child build a snowman. Together they placed a candle in a little hole in his ice-cold belly. With hope in her eyes the girl asked if it would burn through the night. Years later she helped her grandson build a snowman. As they lit the candle in the hole of his ice cold belly, the boy stood back. ‘He might melt,’ he said. ‘Let’s hope so,’ she replied, ‘let’s hope so.’
