Title: RIP D

Lost a old friend this week.
How could it be possible?
Seems yesterday we were
playing in the sun couldn't
wait for night to come
to bring us drink and dance
rocking and rolling
dealing a hand of chance
He thought he was Mic
and I Janis Joplin
In our youthful dance
running and hoppin
Those days went to fast
now they are gone forever
He's gone and laid to rest
but Mic and Janis don't fade
from my memory.
Love you D RIP
