This snow is white and wonderful
and of course it's lots of fun.
They've closed our school and sent us home.
I feel sorry for you mums.

This snow is cold and icy
and very good for moulding.
I've seen lots of snow sculptures
that are truly worth beholding.

This snow is deep and slippy
and not easily traversed.
It feels like the Antarctic
but I'm sure that's ten times worse.

You know I've started wondering
when this snow is going to go.
It was nice for a week or two
but now it's snow on snow.
