Title:
The Last Rose
As winter air sweeps leafless trees, and sparkling frost cocoons earth's warmth - spring sleeps.
In the maws of a transient web one crimson petal pirouettes, to float upon wakeful snow-drops.
The last rose of summer caresses the first sign of sring.
