"All is Safely Gathered in"
My basket full of fruit and veg
Sitting proudly with the rest
I used to love that hymn
Harvest Festival time
Funds to be raised
To help the needy
Sermons to be heard
Denouncing the greedy
Harvest Festival time
We picked potatoes
After school
For loose change
And a cup of cocoa
Harvest Festival time
Super conkers
Were sought with glee
The ones at the top
Were force-shook free
Harvest Festival time
Days of innocence
Nights getting colder
I still love Autumn
As I grow older
