Title:
Home Alone
Weekends used to be The best of times for me. But now I’m long retired My weekends have transpired To become a time of dread That make me want to stay in bed. Why I hear you ask? Well having done my weekday tasks I find that my get up’s gone And that a table just for one Sounds too sad for words. You may think that’s absurd. But why not give it a try I think that you might cry Or stay at home alone As I do.
