Title:
Trivia
I sit here in my home surrounded by well-loved artefacts. Trivia with meaning. Pictures. A life’s story snapped at intervals with cheerful nonchalance.
What of women in Japan? No home. No trivia, No memories to hold, to see. Nothing. No loving arms to bolster pain. No whisper in a heart-sore ear. Just an icicle imbedded in a frozen heart.
I sit here with love alive and close. The trivia of my tears washing - futile - over a guilty ocean.
