Title:
Some Mothers Do 'Av 'Em
Smiles all round today
What more can I say
My son came out as gay
Saved it for Mother's Day.
As his mum I've known for years!
So I greeted his news with cheers
Which soon allayed his fears
That I might be anti-queers.
His boyfriend's very sweet
They both came round to eat
And they'd baked a cake for me
Which tasted love-er-ly.
My son made a speech
Which really was a peach
He said that he hoped his mother
Would get on with his lover.
I was quite lost for words
Which I know sounds quite absurd
So I came out with a pun
You'll all know the one
- Some Mothers Do 'Av 'Em!
