A golden band
Absolutely fabulous
It sparkles on my hand -
nothing very special -
a simple golden band.
Inscribed inside - initials,
yours and mine, and then the date.
Nothing else is needed -
its a blisssful abfab state!
The cake was simply fabulous,
the service quite divine,
but the absolute conclusion
is that you are really mine.
