Title:
Harvest Festival
Autumn comes before winter
And that’s what makes it so nice
It’s the time to get out your warm clothes
In readiness for the ice.
Autumn comes after summer
And that’s good fun as well.
It helps you store up the sunshine
And bottle the flowery smells.
Autumn is vivid and colourful.
The leaves form a beautiful collage.
Then fall to the floor as thick blankets
Hiding nuts for the squirrels to forage.
Autumn is the season of the harvest
And festivals are held to say thanks.
It’s good that this season’s so fruitful
putting food on the table and cash in the bank.
