Title:
Land-gulls - a feathered invasion
Strutting down the street they gain no friends. This is surely no place for lordly feathers - yet their flat webbed feet slap the tarmac with proprietary intent, choosing morsels with shambolic unconcern from the discarded rubbish fast-flushed from flimsy plastic - to splatter on the pavement. Showing no remorse those guilty claim the street. Curved beaks cry out in noisy annoyance at our approach. They dive-bomb with precision. Birds are beautiful but I do not like this present-day invader.
