On a sunny day in 2000, my husband sustained a traumatic dog attack whilst at work

The fallout from this was to reverberate across many years, affecting many people, destroying lives and costing thousands of pounds as his post-traumatic stress disorder became a chronic condition along with addiction. 

It took me on a very long journey, sometimes to places I really didn't want to go.

I hope these pieces I have written go some way to telling my story and how I managed to survive and change, hopefully for the better! 

It is also a debt of gratitude to all those who have helped in my recovery, especially a very good man, GFJVR.  Thank You.
