Hi everyone. I'm fairly new to this writing game(only been active within the last 12 months or so)

I'm nearly sixty, divorced and live on my own in my own house. I came to the north west from London, in 1967, commuted for 14 years and finally settled up here when my wife kicked me out in 1981.

I'm at present writing a novel called Dodgy ground. I origionally wrote it as a screenplay, but changed my mind because it makes sense to develop a screenplay from a book.

I have had a very full life, once having 250 men working on the north sea oil rigs where i made a fortune(and spent it all)

I'm very critical of my own writing and welcome constructive criticism and advice from others
