“Love in a book…”
I wrote my love a poem
and I keep it in my book.
Sometimes, when things are quiet,
I take a little look.
The words are soft and gentle
and prettily expressed.
I hope, when my love reads it,
he will be impressed.
Sentiment may fade with time,
words and love last forever.
I hope that you’ll be always mine,
a love no-one can sever.
