How The System Works
Single teenage mothers, their futures are assured,
financed by the Government while students are ignored.
Teenage mums hang out together proudly pushing prams
while students stay alone in rooms preparing for exams.
~
Students work hard through their youth to realise ambitions
aware that paying off their loans is part of their conditions
If finally they find success and start to forge careers,
the weight of debt they carry will burden them for years.
~
Screwed for dues and taxes from every working day,
The State then turns full circle and squanders it away!!!!
So don’t lambaste the students for kicking up their heels
or for demonstrations, they’ve got the worst of deals!
