all gathered at FIFA Headquarters
to witness an engineered scene.

but stadia, it seems, were not vital
the sweet scent of wealth stitched it up.

Four years then elapse after Russia
and yes, it becomes more bizarre,
World Cup is moved to the tropics
for play offs in boiling Qatar.

Perhaps we may seem disappointed
about the Bloc voting decision
