Title:
Moonlight
Meandering along by the cool waterside seeing the moon cast her beams far and wide we think of all those whom she shines upon too friends we have now and friends we once knew. Happy and sad times in spring or in fall in summer and winter, the moon saw them all. She watched as the ones we loved faded away. She watched new life born before break of day. Throughout our childhood and through our whole being she shone down upon us, all knowing, all seeing. She watched young love blossom and then fall apart, She watched love reviving to make a new start. She shines through our sleep, sweet dreams she dispenses lighting the darkness, enhancing our senses. Ruling the tides and traversing the skies. Across all the heavens forever she flies. And so we observe all her varying phases From new moon to half moon to full moon she races spanning the continents, deserts and oceans, constantly changing, forever in motion. Moonlight at harvest time, moonlight in spring, Moonlight on poor man and moonlight on king. And on to the end of time, we may be sure Moonlight will grace our lives, tranquil and pure.
