Title: Poetry in Motion

Wordsworth, Keats and De La Mere
I read their works while in the air
Coleridge, Dryden, Pope and Shelley
Kept me happy on the ferry

I turned to Chaucer on the train
And read Lord Tennyson again
For verse upon the coach I took
Works by Auden, Wilde and Brooke

The Milton, Burns & Byron Muses
Passed the night on long sea cruises
Larkin, Yeats and Thomas Grey
Inspiring prose throughout the day

Their words of meaning, depth and thought
To readers have much pleasure brought
Ideas evoking deep emotion
Moving, poetry in motion
