Profile for Barbara Becker

I mostly like to write poems but also write short stories.  Sometimes words are all jumbled inside my head and I begin writing them down whereever I am; in my car, my desk at work, my living room, my kitchen, my bedroom and even my bathroom.  I keep pen and paper everywhere.  When inspired, I collect some of these words from every area and put them together like a jigsaw puzzle and come up with a finished product.  Often times when I'm writing I feel forty-nine going on twenty-nine.  I really like that feeling!  The pic I posted is often in my mind when I write.  Somehow, I feel connected to another place and another time.

I needed a way to channel these words outward from paper into the universe.  That's when I found this site.
