I am a painter by trade and have been writing poems for a few years. I am still learning and sometimes I am pleased with what I write. I am an avid reader and enjoy poetry and fiction. In August last year I published my first book, a collection of poems called "Smoke and Mirrors" it is on sale at Waterstones and amazon.co.uk It is published by Bulldog. If you do decide to look for it on amazon, you will find about 40 other books with the same title! I should have done my research! Any way It is a nice little hardback 'pocket' book with a ribbon bookmark and is only six quid. Bob Lakin has written a wonderful review here on writebuzz for which I am truly grateful. Poetry has become my voice. I have Parkinson's and life is a difficult. That's why I write poetry. I hope I can communicate my personality through my writing. I thank writebuzz for providing the opportunity to try.I haven't written much lately ( I now have a new knee) but I posted some yesterday ( 9 July)
